Boston - Yellow Wood Partners, a consumer focused private equity firm, has hired Tracy Pizzi as Chief Financial Officer in Boston. Tracy will be responsible for managing the Yellow Wood finance function including fund and management company accounting, valuation, budgeting, LP correspondence, working with third party service providers, and human resources. Tracy will also be the Chief Compliance Officer and oversee all aspects of SEC compliance. Prior to joining Yellow Wood, Tracy was the Controller for Battery Ventures, a global, technology-focused investment firm, where she had been for more than 6 years. Her past experience also includes working as Hedge Fund Administration Analyst for Wellington Management, a Senior Accountant for Atlas Venture, and an Audit Senior for Deloitte. Tracy holds a BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Bucknell University and a MS in Taxation from Bentley University. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
