BOSTON, May 9, 2023 – Unilever's Vice President of Personal Care Digital Marketing, Media & Commerce (DMMC) and Strategy, Daniel Alter, has announced his departure from the company to join Yellow Wood Partners as the CEO of newly formed Suave Brands Company. After a successful 20+ year career with Unilever, Alter leaves behind a legacy of accomplishments that span across various functions, categories, and geographies.
During his time with Unilever, Alter's leadership played a critical role in driving growth for the US Hair Care business and landing Unilever's Connected for Growth (C4G) transformation initiative in the Canadian Beauty & Personal Care (BPC) business. These efforts led to record growth and new capabilities, enabling sustainable performance for the company.
Most recently, Alter's leadership was instrumental in developing Unilever's Personal Care DMMC. Throughout his tenure, Alter was a dedicated people leader who mentored and developed many future leaders.
