BOSTON, February 10, 2025 – Yellow Wood Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm specializing in investments in consumer brands and companies, today announced the promotion of Ammu Mandalap to Principal, effective immediately. The promotion was made in recognition of her continued hard work, dedication and strong contributions to the firm and its portfolio companies, including Suave Brands Company and Scholl’s Wellness Company.

Ms. Mandalap has more than eight years of experience in private equity and investment banking, joining Yellow Wood Partners in 2019. She spent close to a year taking on a senior role in the finance department at the Suave Brands Company headquarters, ensuring a smooth transition from Unilever and setting up Suave as an independent entity. “We are thrilled to announce Ammu’s promotion from Vice President to Principal,” said Tad Yanagi, Partner at Yellow Wood. “Ammu has led key initiatives for the investment team, including spearheading our sourcing coverage across various consumer sectors and collaborating closely with both the Suave Brands Company and Scholl’s Wellness Company teams.”

Prior to joining Yellow Wood, Ms. Mandalap was an Associate in the Healthcare Investment Banking group at BMO Capital Markets, where she worked on various M&A and capital raising transactions.
